The "D" style is Task-oriented and Outgoing.
The "I" style is People-oriented and Outgoing.
The "S" style is People-oriented and Reserved.
The "C" style is Task-oriented and Reserved.

Our interpretation of the DISC model does not assume that there are clearly defined lines between each of these four styles. We understand that every individual has a unique personality which consists of a blend of all four basic styles.

We've described each of the four basic personality styles below that our Adult Assessment Profile is designed to measure. Remember these four can be blended to reveal someone's unique personality.  You'll see why the DISC system is so easy to apply to your every day life! As you read the descriptions below, think about the people you know and what their primary style might be!
Style: Task-oriented / Outgoing
Description: Dominant, Driving, Doers
Symbol: Exclamation point - emphatic in everything they do
Focus: Get the job done - just do it! Overcome opposition and achieve your goals! Winners never quit... quitters never win!
Basic Needs: Challenge, Control, Choices
Outlook on Life: To lead or to be in charge

Symbol: Star - They love recognition and being the center of attention
Focus: I am for you! If we all pull in the same direction and stay motivated, there is no end to the success... and fun... we can have.
Basic Needs: Recognition, Approval, Popularity
Outlook on Life: To persuade others to their way of thinking

Symbol: Plus/Minus - They bring a balance to the people equation
Focus: All for one and one for all. If we all work together, we can make a great team. Working together we can do it!
Basic Needs: Appreciation, Security, Approval
Outlook on Life: To provide necessary support to help get the job completed
